Professor O. Hesse's legacy lives on.

The legacy of the world-renowned physician and pathologist Professor MUDr. Ondřej Hes, Ph.D. is still alive. Thanks to the Eden Foundation and its chairman, Prof. Michal Michal, the "Ondrej Hes Private Nature Reserve" today has over 20 hectares of the most valuable land on the Kateřinský Brook near the village of Hošťka.

Read more in the attached article and in the spring issue of the prestigious Welcome Guest magazine.

The double page was translated into English by our colleague Tereza Pelikánová and we believe that the graphic design of the editors of the Welcome Guest will please all those who knew Ondra all over the world.

At the same time, for the second time, we have submitted a proposal and application for the award of the state decoration in memoriam to Prof. Ondřej Hes for his extraordinary contribution to medicine, science and the Czech Republic.

A personal letter with all the necessary materials and a request that he himself nominate Ondřej Hes for the award was sent on Wednesday of this week directly to Senate President Miloš Vystrčil.

We believe that this time it will work and even though no award will bring Ondra back to life, we are convinced that he deserves this recognition!
