During our first season, a local beaver incorporated the dam of our new pond into his route along the waterway.
Since it is a relatively large and heavy animal, by climbing out of the pond every day and moving over the dam body, it dug a relatively deep furrow that would subsequently drain the pond. Therefore, Karel Makoň, Hana Makoňová and Pavel Steinbach secured and strengthened the body of the dam so that the rock-lined exit from the water for the beaver took place in the lower part of the pond.
