Immediately after the purchase, takeover and transfer of the nameless pond to the ownership and management of NF Eden, Karel Makoň and his colleague Pavel Steinbach removed the temporary wire basket left by the original owner and installed a stronger and different protective basket on the repaired wooden pin (sluice).
The galvanized reinforcement net is intended to protect the wooden sluice of the pond from the European beaver, which perceives water management on the site differently than we do and would dismantle the sluice over time.
